Curved Fir Staircase in Layton

We were able to work on some very unique stairs in Layton. The original curved wood stairs had been covered with carpet and the client wanted to restore the wood.

The client removed the carpet from the stairs and found the installer had overdone it a tad on the carpet staples. Subsequently, we spent a significant amount of time removing the staples and filling in the holes.

When it was all said and done, the client chose Provincial stain color and three coats of finish. They also requested we cover the risers and sides of the stairs with MDF board which they will paint the same color as the wall.
