Hickory Install in Bountiful

We had hardwood floors installed on most of our main level. We loved our new hardwood floor so much that we called Hardwood Floors Guys to come back and install in another area. Then, just a few months later, we remodeled our kitchen and of course, wanted hardwood floors to blend into the already installed hardwood! It is beautiful and you can’t even tell that we made it a three part process. Gordon makes sure everything is done right and Kim is amazing to work with. These guys are our Hardwood Floor guys forever!

I did a lot of research prior to contacting Hardwood Floor Guy to refinish and stain our hardwood floors. The original floor had been covered with carpet for decades. Gordon came in and sanded away all the orange color, leaving a clean, red oak. One picture shows dark stains that were found in one bedroom. Gordon was able to sand the stains away. We chose Driftwood for the stain because we wanted something different. Gordon also installed new baseboard and custom trim around the tile of our fireplace. Our floors look absolutely beautiful! Gordon and Chris did a great job! We’re very happy and highly recommend Hardwood Floor Guys.

Gordon and his team took great care of us! They got us scheduled way sooner than originally planned, and had our floors sanded and refinished within 4 days. We were unsure about the way the stain we chose looked when applied to the red oak, and they took the extra time to add a custom set of top coats to help us achieve the look we wanted. We love our floors! Would recommend working with them!

My floors look fantastic. Gordon takes pride in his work and does a great job. I am pretty indecisive and they helped me feel confident about choices to move forward with as they know much more than I do, and how to get the look I described. Gordon said he encourages people to get other bids but to compare apples to apples because they use top of the line product and have so much experience/expertise. I didn’t ever get any other bids but would’ve been curious how they compared to Hard Wood Floor Guys bid.

We are so grateful for Gordon and Kim! We had some marble being installed in an upstairs bathroom and when the installer was carrying it up it broke and fell over our railing into our hardwood floors. There were several holes, a scratch and even a piece of marble stuck in one of the holes. we called so many places with no luck in finding someone that would come and fix our floors. My husband called The Hardwood Floor Guys and Kim answered. She was so kind and compassionate when we explained what had happened. Although they had a full schedule, she squeezed us in! Gordon brought all the supplies needed and offered to fix it on the spot! He is a master at wood floors and when he was finished we couldn’t see where the damage had taken place!!! Don’t hesitate to call them, I can’t say enough about how wonderful they are!

My floors look beautiful! Gordon is everything you want in a contractor! He is professional, punctual, efficient, responsive, and takes pride in his work. Gordon and his crew did an absolutely amazing job with my 100-year old floors! My original floors had water damage, scratches and gauges, and finish missing in places. From the initial estimate, fitting me into their schedule, and overcoming the little speed bumps we hit along the way, Kim kept me in the loop constantly. My whole house is hardwood, and I had them install new red oak floors in my kitchen, and refinish the fir, and red/white oak in the rest of the house with the Swedish finish in satin. Gordon hand makes all the transition pieces and he cut down the height of my doors to accommodate the new floor height in the hallway. When it turned out we couldn’t simply buff and recoat my entire living and dining room due to extensive wax buildup, Gordon offered to try refinishing them, and with luck, there was enough wood left, and they are beautiful! I loved the fact that Gordon himself did all the final work and that he genuinely cares about doing what is best for both the floors and the customer. My floors now have a new life, while still showing their original character.

These guys do a great job! Gordon gave me a good price on a job that included repairs to a 70 year old red oak floor and weaving in / installing new flooring in an addition. Then the entire floor was refinished. The work is seamless and the finished floor is gorgeous. The old and new blend perfectly – Really high quality work. These guys are so easy to work with. Gordon has probably forgotten more about his craft than most will ever know.

Hardwood Floor Guys installed oak floor in a room with difficult steps and also sanded and refinished a room. The work is first class and everything done to perfection. We are completely satisfied and will give the company an A+ rating! We plan on using their services again soon!

We just got done building a home in Tremonton and our floors turned out better than we could have ever expected. They truly add a great touch to our beautiful home. We absolutely love how they turned out. Gordon definitely knows what he is doing and we would recommend him for any hardwood floor that needs to be installed or refinished.
